Application Process

A simple and transparent process — designed to support a smooth start, uphold shared integrity, and align members with appropriate participation pathways. This page explains the steps, typical timelines, and required materials.

Overview

The application verifies basics (identity, eligibility, integrity) and assigns your pathway and initial level.

1) Choose Pathway

Select the membership pathway that best matches your role (industry, regulator, academia, NGO, professional, etc.).

2) Initial Level Assignment

Your initial level reflects intended engagement scope and eligibility checks — not organisation size.

3) Integrity & Safeguards

Conflict-of-interest disclosure and code-of-conduct alignment protect credibility for all members.

Typical review period: 4–6 weeks (may vary by pathway, documentation completeness and review queue).
How It Works

Clear stages — designed for transparency and predictable outcomes.

2Provide Materials

Upload or submit required documents based on your pathway (identity, institutional info, references, etc.).

3Secretariat Review

4Committee Decision

Membership Committee evaluates alignment and assigns initial level; additional questions may be requested.

5Confirmation

Approved applicants receive confirmation, membership terms, and onboarding instructions.

6Member Acceptance & Integration

Member portal access, profile setup, committee placement, and a smooth introduction into relevant working groups.

7Participation Starts

Engage through consultations, drafts, working groups, briefings, and programme pathways relevant to your scope.

8Level Review (Optional)

Levels may evolve over time based on contribution maturity, deliverables and integrity compliance.
